Solo Repertoire List

Selections marked with an asterisk have audio or video recordings available.

Note: my chamber and collaborative repertoire (including orchestral piano parts for piano concerti) is listed in a separate document. The list below includes solo selections, concerti for which I have learned the solo parts, and solo piano arrangements of works that originally came in other instrumentations.

*Titles marked with an asterisk can be heard via my YouTube channel and others on YouTube.

Please get in touch if you would like me to design a customized solo recital program for your next event. Please note that I do not generally accept unsolicited requests from composers to add their solo pieces to my repertoire (aside from specific and agreed-upon demo recording arrangements). Requests to learn new-to-me but otherwise standard repertoire will be accommodated as scheduling permits. At the bottom of this list I've included the titles of some themed programs I've already formulated for previous engagements, so you're welcome to choose from among those too.

Selections marked with a tilde (~) are no longer available for inclusion on customized concert programs due to the loss of the needed 9th reach in my right hand following an accident in 2014. However, it's useful for current and potential students to know that I have mastered these pieces (not that a student's repertoire is ever limited by what I've studied myself!).

THEMED RECITAL PROGRAMS I'VE CURATED FOR PREVIOUS ENGAGEMENTS
If you'd like me to bring one of these pre-curated programs to your next event, just get in touch! Programs can be presented with or without historical and musical commentary and I can customize the content to a point (looking at my repertoire list, it's probably fairly obvious which pieces belong to which programs, and certain pieces fit into more than one).

"The Singing Piano": Vocal works arranged by composers not known for their vocal work or pieces inspired by the vocal literature but written by composers not known for their vocal writing (30-40 minutes)

"Opera Composers at the Piano": Piano works from composers more traditionally known for their vocal works, mainly in opera (Puccini, Verdi, Massenet, Rossini, etc.) (30-40 minutes)

"The Piano Music of Spain": A survey of piano music by Spanish composers from the 1500s through the 20th century (60+ minutes)

"Italy's Piano Music": A survey of piano music by Italian composers from the late 1500s through today (60+ minutes)

"Latin America at the Piano": A survey of piano music by Latin American composers, mostly focusing on the 19th and 20th centuries (60+ minutes)

"Ladies' Night": A survey of music by female-identifying composers, ranging from the early 1700s through today (60+ minutes, and I have multiple versions of this program)

"Baroque Beauty": Music of the Baroque period (roughly 1595-1745) by composers hailing from around Europe and elsewhere (60+ minutes)
