Winter and Spring 2020 Happenings

4/18/2020 - As a last-minute addition to the program, I reunited with my friends at the Spooky Goose Opera for another pair of Quarantine Concerts, which featured the two completed pieces from my Vignettes collection. Livestream archives are available via the Spooky Goose YouTube channel.
4/3/2020 - I'm honored to be giving a (virtual!) presentation on Irina Gorin's Tales of a Musical Journey piano method for the Western Reserve Music Teachers Association! Tales takes the best of the legendary Russian school and presents its technical and musical concepts in an imaginative, kid-friendly format.

3/27/2020 - Although the COVID-19 epidemic has shuttered many performing venues around the world, I'm still finding ways to perform! I'm honored to be joining Spooky Goose Opera's livestreamed Quarantine Concert Series, happening on March 27 (7pm EDT), 28 (7pm EDT), and 29 (2pm EDT). I'll be playing different selections from my Venturing Beyond set, to be announced.

1/2/2020 - Wonderful news for my Accessible Accompaniments fans! Because European copyright protection has expired on Richard Strauss's most popular operas, my Strauss opera aria reductions are now available on SMP again! Click here to browse them. I'll also be adding them to MusicaNeo shortly.

1/2020- If you're in northeast Ohio and looking for a pianist for your next OMEA event (or your students'), please get in touch! Back in Indiana I gained a reputation as someone able to master and coach repertoire at the last minute for both instrumental and vocal competitors. I will be performing at the N. Ridgeville event in February and am particularly interested in working with as many students as will fit into my schedule; all instruments and genres are welcome!
Additionally, I am now actively seeking more online students in piano, collaborative piano, music theory, and composition.Taking lessons through Zoom technology will allow us to connect no matter where in the world we are and enjoy some really fun and useful interactive exercises. Former Bloomington students who have not found a suitable in-person instructor in my absence may still enroll under the old Bloomington rates, but spots are limited. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
