Summer 2022 Season Events

8/14/22 - I'll be accompanying the students of Wei-Fang Gu in a violin recital at 7pm (CIM, Mixon Hall), so if this interferes with your lesson slot, we will find an alternative that week.

8/10/22 - I'll be in a private concerto recording session that evening, so if this interferes with any lesson slots, I will be in touch about alternatives.

8/7/22 and 8/21/22 - I'll be co-presenting a special program of music for trumpet/piano and clarinet/piano, respectively, as part of Sunday services at Pilgrim Tremont.

6/23 and 6/24/22 - My compositions Divertimento for string quartet and Lucid Dreaming for solo harp will be performed at the She Scores Festival at Harkness Chapel (Case Western Reserve University) on June 23 and 24, respectively, both at 7pm.
ETA: Cleveland Classical did a feature on the She Scores festival and I have a few specific mentions in the article! Check it out here . I've also downloaded it in PDF and posted it on my Reviews/Press page as a more permanent form of hosting.

6/3/22 - My first Tonebase blog post (of hopefully many to come) is up! The subject is how to start composing for the piano. Click here to access the article.

Summer 2022 - I'll be collaborating virtually (as quarantine taught us how!) with multi-instrumentalist Elissa Menendez de Tejada on a classical-repertoire mainstage show she's developed for cruise ship engagements--a gig I'm very familiar with as a former cruise ship pianist myself. The selections involve flute/piano, clarinet/piano, and saxophone/piano works and encompass everything from Tchaikovsky to the Legend of Zelda!

Summer 2022 - While this is outlined on my dedicated studio website, I'll just post another reminder that my studio is now only accepting online students in piano, composition, theory, and partimento/historical composition.

My church substitute pianist schedule is also filling up quickly--please get in touch if you think you may need a reliable pianist for Setpember and beyond. I'm booked almost completely through August! (Updated July 12th)

5/22/22 - I had the pleasure of joining French hornist Meredith Evans on a special program of French repertoire at Pilgrim Congregational UCC in Tremont, downtown Cleveland. We featured music by Saint-Saens, Fauré, and Senaillé.
