From VENTURING BEYOND, this is Nocturne in D-flat - the only (early-) intermediate educational composition in D-flat major of which I (the composer) am aware.

Notes on the composition:
The nocturne was first made famous by the Irish composer John Field in the early 19th century; however, most pianists today associate the genre with Frederic Chopin. It usually features a lyrical melody over an arpeggiated bass. In this piece, the right hand melody should be played cantabile (in a singing style) throughout, with the left hand in the background. Some rubato is appropriate.
